Final Rites For W. E. Lawless Held at Mt. Zion

Funeral services for William Earl Lawless, 73, former resident of the Mt. Zion Community near DeBerry, were held Sunday at 4 p.m. from the Mt. Zion Methodist Church. The Rev. Williams was the officiating minister and burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery was under direction of the Hawthorn Funeral Home. His nephews acted as pallbearers.

Mr. Lawless passed away Saturday at his home in Shreveport where he had lived since leaving Mt. Zion.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vashti Lawless of Shreveport; two sons, David Lawless of DeBerry and J. G. Lawless of Fort Worth; three daughters, Mrs. Mrs. Dessie Graves of Shreveport, Mrs. T. H. Shelton of Amarillo, and Miss Nellie Earline Lawless of Shreveport, and nine grandchildren.
