William Edward Baumgartner

William Edward Baumgartner, 74, died Saturday, December 31, 2011. Born April 16, 1937, Bill leaves behind son Edward, son Joseph and wife Rowena, and three beloved grandsons - Alex, Owen, and Evan.

Bill was preceded in death by parents Annabelle and Harold and wife Patricia.

Bill was a longtime employee of Texaco. He avidly supported the Boy Scouts of America, volunteering over 25 years with Troop 26 and the local District and Council. He was awarded the prestigious Silver Beaver Award for excellence in Scouting. Bill volunteered for the St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary and served as Auxiliary President.

Bill was born in Linn, MO; graduated from De Le Salle Academy in Kansas City, MO; and lived in Tulsa, OK for the past 30 years attending St. Pius X and St. Bernard Catholic Churches.

Visitation 4 - 6:30 pm Wednesday, January 4, followed by Rosary service at 7 p.m. at Fitzgerald Southwood Chapel.

Funeral service to be held Thursday, January 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church.
