W. E. Roberson
TALLULAH, Dec. 29 -- (Special) -- Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church here Monday for W. E. Roberson, 62, who died of a heart attack Sunday at his home. The Rev. Ivin Cheney officiated. He was assisted by the Rev. E. D. Smith. Interment followed in Silver Cross cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, three sons, Garland, Carl and Lenard Roberson all of Tallulah; four daughters, Mrs. Stanley Harmon, Mrs. Lenell Bradley, Mrs. Clayton Cox, and Mrs. J. W. Reeves, all of Tallulah; two brothers, Milton Roberson of Urania, and E. A. Roberson of Dallas, Tex.; five sisters, Mrs. Nertie Pardue of Quitman, Mrs. Alma Chandler of Dodson, Mrs. Machie Jones of Crossett, Ark., Mrs. Jesse Vernon and Mrs. Effie Perkins, both of Texarkana, Texas; and 21 grandchildren.
Mr. Roberson was a native of Norfolk, Ark. He had resided in Tallulah since 1929. He was a member of the Baptist Church and had been a deacon for the past 35 years. He was also a member of the Tallulah Masonic Lodge.

Funeral Services For W. E. Roberson Held Monday Afternoon
Funeral services for W. E. Roberson were held Monday afternoon at the First Baptist Church with the
Rev. Irvin Cheney officiating, assisted by the Rev. E. D. Smith, pastor of the Willow Bayou Baptist
Church. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home.
Mr. Roberson, a resident of Madison Parish since 1929, died at his home Sunday morning of a heart attack.
He was a native of Norfolk, Ark., and had been engaged in the farming business until two years ago,
when he entered the refrigeration business with his son, Garland Roberson.
He was a member of the Baptist Church and had served as a deacon for 35 years; he was also a member
of the Tallulah Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Garland, Carl and Leonard, all of Tallulah; four daughters,
Mrs. Stanley Harmon, Mrs. Lenell Bradley, Mrs. Clayton Cox and Mrs. J. W. Reeves, all of Tallulah;
