WILLIAM E. MOSELEY III (Edwin), born August 9, 1934, in Bradley County Arkansas to Bessie and William E. Moseley, Jr. passed away on February 9, 2002. He is preceded in death by his mother Bessie Moseley.
William was a longtime member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church and a resident of Houston for 56 years. Edwin enjoyed researching his family history and was a member of the Heritage Society in Warren, Arkansas. A lifelong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America, he was a member of the Order of the Arrow and earned his Eagle Scout in 1951.
Edwin is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Barbara Bednar Moseley, his father W.E. Moseley, Jr. and step-mother Mary Dale Moseley. He will be greatly missed by his children William R. Moseley and wife Diane Clear Moseley, Michael E. Moseley and wife Debra Gore Moseley, Virginia Moseley Bate and husband Steven Alan Bate, Ronald L. Moseley and wife Deborah Bronikowsky Moseley; grandchildren, Kristen Anne Custer, Ashley Nicole Bate, Logan Eugene Moseley, Katherine Nicole Moseley, Steven Alexander Wininger, Matthew Alan Bate, Megan Ashley Voss, Marcia Jane Moseley, Trevor Edwin Moseley and Ian Mitchell Moseley; sisters Mary Alice Tullos and JoAnn Henderson and numerous other family members.
Visitation will began at 2:00p.m. Monday, February 11th at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m. Monday evening.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at St. Timothy Episcopal Church 13125 Indianapolis. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St. Timothy's Episcopal Church Building Fund or the Boy Scouts of America in lieu of flowers.
