Funeral Rites Saturday for W. E. Vick

W. E. Vick, 68-year-old retired jeweler who has made his home in Harvey for a number of years, died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist hospital, after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the home of D. D. Cameron, 415 Rebecca avenue, with the Rev. A. M. O'Neal, pastor of the Petal Methodist church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Old City cemetery.

Mr. Vick is survived by his wife, the former Miss Della Cameron; four sons, Pvt. Auburn Vick, ordnance department, Camp Shelby; Pvt. Robert Vick, army air forces, Buckley Field, Colo.; Officer Candidate Tom Vick, who is attending an officer training school at Fort Monroe, Va.; and Norman Vick of Washington state; one daughter, Mrs. Hartley Burford, Houston, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Tempie Pritchard, Shreveport, La.; and one grandchild.

Active pallbearers will be three of Mr. Vick's sons, Auburn, Robert and Tom, and his son-in-law, Mr. Burford.
