Funeral Services for Mr. William “Bill” Festervan, age 53 years, of Columbia were held 2 p.m. Tuesday June 15, 1993 at the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia, with the Rev. Cecil Gregory and Rev. Shane Duke officiating. Interment followed in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson, LA. Mr. Festervan, died June 13, 1993 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Festervan, a Pipe Liner, attended the First Baptist Church of Columbia.
Survivors include: His Wife: Mrs. Connie Duke Festervan, Columbia, LA.; Daughter: Miss Codi Festervan, West Monroe, La.; Step Daugther [sic Daughter] and Son-in-law Tammy and Chuck Evans, West Monroe, LA.; 2 Step Sons: Mr. Rusty Smith and Mr. Donnie Ponder, both of Columbia, LA.; 2 Grand Daughters: Sunny Brockner and Bailey Evans, West Monroe, LA.; Father and Step Mother: Carl and Polly Festervan, Oil City, LA.; Mother and Step Dad: Inez and Clyde Adams, Bossier City, La.; 2 Brothers: Ronnie Festervan, Bossier City, La.; Danny Festervan, Haughton, La.; 4 Sisters: Mrs. Carlene Campbell, Baton Rouge, La., Mrs. Linda Dillion, Serepta, La., Mrs. Dianne Sanders, and Mrs. Paula Forshee, Both of Shreveport, and Life Long friend: Mrs. Edith Nottingham, Oil City, LA.
Pallbearers were: Harold Roberts, Paul Wilkins, Roger Murphey, Iley Evans, Jack Turner, Mark Roberts, Ronald Lewellyan, Glen Belk.
