W. F. Stroud, Age 31, Dodson, Dies On Way To Hospital Sunday

W. F. Stroud, 31 years old of Dodson, died Sunday morning in Columbia enroute to Monroe to the hospital. Mr. Stroud became ill at his brother's home in Kelly early Saturday morning when his condition was known to be serious. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of the Winnfield Presbyterian Church, Monday morning at eleven o'clock and interment was made in the Mineral Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Stroud was a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, who before her marriage was Miss Pearl Henricks, of Dodson, three children, Wilmer, Elizabeth, and Arland, mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. John Stroud, of Sikes, two brothers and two sisters.
