Funeral Held for William G. Harper
William G. Harper, 79, who died September 5 in the home of Bill Northcutt of Monroe City, was buried in Abshier cemetery the afternoon of September 7.
The funeral service held at 3 p. m. in the Pentecostal Church at Anahuac was conducted by Mrs. T. M. Puckett of Liberty with the arrangements under the direction of Pace-Stancil, funeral directors of Liberty.
A former resident of Liberty, Mr. Harper had lived here 35 years. He moved to Monroe City and later to Anahuac.
Surviving are his two daughters, Mrs. Ed Dunbar and Mrs. Effie Dunbar, Sunset, La., and one nephew, W. T. Harper, Port Arthur.
