William Gregory “Billy” Jones

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for William Gregory “Billy” Jones, 54, will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, February 15, 2002 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Terry Ray, pastor of Southpark Church of God. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Jones, a native and lifelong resident of Shreveport, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2002 in Shreveport, LA. He was a member of Southpark Church of God and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm William Jones.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Terri and his mother, Lucille Jones, both of Shreveport; son, Stephen, active U.S. Navy; daughter, Julie of Colorado; brothers, Charlie and wife Pat of Bossier City and Larry of Shreveport; aunt, Clara Lolley of Shreveport; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Gene Robertson, Shane Bairnsfather, Clark Bairnsfather, Murwyn Stover, Jimmy Davis, and Gary Flowers.

The Jones family would like to express their sincere appreciation to everyone at Cellxion for their support and compassion to Billy and his family.
