Funeral services for William Herron Sr. 84, of Jonesville, LA. will be 2pm Tuesday September 16, 2014 at the Church of God in Jonesville, LA. with Rev. Marion Jr. Trisler officiating. Interment will follow at Palo Alto Cemetery in Jonesville, LA. under the direction of Comer Funeral Home Ferriday, LA.
Mr. Herron was born December 08, 1929 in Jonesville, LA. to the union of Joseph and Harriet Adams Herron and passed from this life September 12, 2014 at The Columns Community Care Center in Jonesville, LA. surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Herron was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Harriet Herron, wife Agnes Morris Herron, and one daughter Joy Trahan and 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
Survivors include two sons William Herron Jr., and wife Marilyn of Jonesville, LA., and Michael Herron and wife Valerie of Jonesville, La. one daughter Susan Steele and husband Bryan of Jonesville, LA., ten grand children, fifteen great grandchildren and seven great- great-grandchildren.
