FORT WORTH -- William H. McKinney, 89, a retired certified public accountant, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 1999, in Fort Worth.
Graveside service: 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Greenwood Memorial Park.
Memorials: James L. West Special Care Center, 1111 Summit, Fort Worth 76102.
William H. McKinney was born Dec. 21,1909, in Cameron. He held various positions in Port Arthur and Austin from 1932 to 1945. He moved to Fort Worth in 1945 to accept an accounting position. He obtained his CPA certificate in 1949, and was in private practice from 1949 until his retirement in 1984. He was a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Accounting. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elva, on Oct. 13, 1994, after 60 years of marriage.

Survivors: Son, Pat McKinney and his wife, Peggy, of Houston and Tim McKinney and his wife, Ann, of Fort Worth; grandsons, Kevin McKinney and his wife, Diana of Houston and Don McKinney of Fort Worth; and granddaughter, Arden McKinney of Fort Worth.
