William Henry McKaskle

William Henry McKaskle, 71, passed away in Houston Monday after a long illness. The funeral service was held Wednesday at the Lone Cedar Baptist church, with the Rev. Bobby Brown officiating., assisted by the Rev. H. K. Stringer.

Interment followed in the Ogden cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lawrence McMahan, Morris Keyes, Charlie Nelson, Lee Mahan, Mecom Ballar and Martin James.

Mr. McKaskle is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary McKaskle of Winnsboro; two daughters, Mrs. Odessa Davis of Winnsboro and Mrs. Rubye Nell Darbe of Camden, N. J.; seven sons, Olan and Nolan of Santa Anna, Calif., James Frank of Wisner, Leo of Houston, W. H., Jr. of Fort Riley, Kans., and Charles Ray of Monroe; two step daughters, Mrs. Clara Wiggins of Glenn Park, Tex. and Mrs. Mary Myrtle Johnson of Lake Charles; four step-sons, Fletcher Stapp of Corpus Christi, Tex., John Stapp of Medicine Lodge, Kan., Paul Stapp of Houston, Tex. and Roy Stapp of Winnsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Liza Slaeger of Yoakum, Tex. and Mrs. Olivia Wiggens of Winnsboro; one brother, John B. McKaskle of Kilgore, Tex.; 33 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
