Rites Held for William H. Dobie

Funeral services for William Hiram Dobie, 63, of Wimberley, who died Friday in San Marcos, were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in San Marcos.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. J. R. Dobie, of Wimberley; his wife, Mrs. Liddie Dobie; two sons, J. E. Dobie of Wimberley and K. M. Dobie of San Antonio; four daughters, Mrs. Cecelia [sic Cecil] Turner and Mrs. Virgil Crawford of San Antonio, Mrs. Carl Slaughter of Dublin and Mrs. Charles West of Kingsbury; five brothers, John, Duncan, Burdette and James Dobie of Wimberley and Louis Dobie of Austin; and two sisters, Mrs. B. Call of Gridley, Calif. and Mrs. W. C. Clayton of San Marcos.

The Rev. T. N. Pollard officiated at the funeral services in San Marcos. Burial was in Wimberley cemetery.
