Grivette Funeral Set for Monday
William Hubert Grivette of 421 Clara Avenue, Ukiah, died today at the age of 64. He was a native of Louisiana, born Sept. 5, 1894. A fireman, he retired several years ago while an employe of Durable Fir Lumber & Plywood Company at Calpella. He was a veteran of World War I and a resident of this community 15 years.
Funeral services from the Eversole Mortuary will be held Monday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. H. M. Bisby the officiating minister. Interment will be in the Ukiah Cemetery.
Mr. Grivette is survived by his widow, Mrs. Edna Grivette of Ukiah, and the following sons and daughters, all of Ukiah:
Mrs. Ruth Weatherly, Laverne Grivette, Hubert Girvette [sic Grivette], Eugene Grivette, Louis Grivette, Robert Givette [sic Grivette], Mrs. Audine Clark and W. C. Spears. There are 21 grandchildren. Mrs. Goldie Scribner of Redwood Valley and Ms. Estelle Brown of Louisiana are surviving sisters.
Pallbearers will be sons and sons-in-law.
