REV. W. J. WALKER DIES

After a number of years of illness, Rev. W. J. Walker, a pioneer Baptist minister of the Gulf Coast, on Tuesday morning at an early hour quietly passed out from this life to the realm beyond. His remains were placed in the Evergreen Cemetery this morning at 9 o'clock, Rev. P. S. Dodge officiating. Rev. Walker's beneficient activities will be remembered by the old settlers of the Coast.
