William “Bill” Dunn
August 5, 1954 - May 31, 2012

Mr. William “Bill” Dunn, Jr., age 57 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Born Thursday, August 5, 1954 in Oakland, California , he was the son of the late William L. Dunn, Sr. and the late Joyce Christiansen Dunn. He was also preceded in death by nephews Joey Parker and Phillip Busby.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jo Ellen Busby Dunn of Winnfield, sons, John Cox of Monroe, LA, Joseph Cox and wife Wendi of W. Monroe, LA and Jared Cox and wife Kristi of Little Rock, AR; he was proud pappy of 3 grand children, Peyton, Julia, and Ian Cox.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at The Family Church with the Rev. Joel Hines officiating. Interment will be in Old Union Cemetery, Joyce, LA.

Joseph White, Samuel Busby, Tony Parker, Wesley Sharp, Nathaniel Short, John Cox, Joseph Cox, and Jared Cox will serve as pallbearers. Mark Thornhill and Clifton Cox will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Southern Funeral Home and on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at The Family Church from 12:30 PM until time of services.
