William L. Dean

DELHI -- Funeral services for William Lavon Dean, 59, of Warden were at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Kidder-Cox Funeral Home here with the Rev. Marvin Reiger and the Rev. William Pollard officiating.

Burial followed in Crowville Masonic Cemetery for Mr. Dean, who died Tuesday night in Franklin Parish Hospital at Winnsboro after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include one son, Sonny Dean of Winnsboro, his father, M. L. Dean of Warden; two brothers, M. T. Dean and Joe Dean, both of Warden; two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Quincy Hayes, Marvin Scriber, W. A. Southall Jr., Jimmie Corley, James Morse and J. W. Cassidy.
