William `Bill' Kirksey

BANGS -- William L. ``Bill'' Kirksey, 80, died Wednesday in a Brownwood hospital.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood. Burial will be in Jenkins Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Kirksey was born in Brown County and married Helen Christine Wyatt in 1941 in Comanche. He was a retired employee of Gifford Hill Pipe Co. in Fort Worth and moved to Brown County in 1977 from Arlington. He was a 50-year member of the Holliday Masonic Lodge and was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, of Bangs; one brother, James C. Kirksey of Lubbock; two sisters, Nona Kennedy of Lake Brownwood and Fern Kennedy of Waco; and many nieces and nephews.
