TUESDAY RITES FOR WILLIAM L. FITE

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Fossett funeral chapel for William Lester Fite, 47, who died early Sunday at his home, 206 East Cedar.

Rev. Wayne Pearson will officiate and burial will be made in Enid cemetery.

Fite had been employed with the Oklahoma high maintenance department until he became ill 18 months ago. He previously worked with D. C. Bass and Sons Construction company.

Born in Enid, Fite moved while as an infant to Girard, Ill, with his father. He lived on a farm near there until 1927, when he returned to Enid. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of the home, several aunts, uncles, and a cousin.

Pallbearers for Fite will be Morris Dickson, Edmond Eden, Duffy McIntosh, O. O. Steffy, Homer Davis and J. C. Stringer.

SERVICES ARE HELD FOR WILLIAM FITE

Funeral rites were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Fossett funeral home chapel for William Lester Fite, 47, who died Sunday at his home, 206 East Cedar. Rev. Wayne Pearson was in charge of the service and burial was made in the Enid cemetery.

He had been employed by the Oklahoma highway maintenance department until he became ill 18 months ago. He previously worked with D. C. Bass and Sons Construction company.

Mr. Fite was born in Enid and later moved to Girard, Ill. with his father. He lived on a farm near there until 1927 when he returned to Enid. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of the home and other relatives.
