W. L. Prince, 80, Of Sikes Buried Monday Morning
Funeral services were held at the Fellowship Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Monday, July 21, 1952 for William Lewis Prince, 80, of Sikes, who died at his home July 19. Rites were conducted by the Rev. Paul Hammonds and interment was in the Fellowship Cemetery under direction of the Southern Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were R. C. Johnson, E. E. Adams, Edwin Prince, Chester Kirkland, Arnold Sikes, and Alfred Prince.
Mr. Prince was born November 20, 1871. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Mr. Prince is survived by his widow; four sons, Charley and Ross Prince of Conroe, Texas, Clarence Prince of Sikes and Wayne Prince of the U. S. Navy; three daughters, Mrs. Opal Wasson of Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. Jewel Wiggins of Winnsboro, and Mrs. Loyce Arledge of Vinton, La., and 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
