William Solley

Funeral services for William Solley, 42, of 723 St. Charles St., Bossier City, will be today at 2 p.m. at the Cass Baptist Church near Atlanta, Tex., with the Rev. Johnny McAlexander officiating.

A native of Cass County, Tex., Mr. Solley died at Confederate Memorial Medical Center Wednesday about 3:50 p.m. Caddo Parish Coroner Dr. Willis P. Butler said Mr. Solley died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound received Sept. 29.

Burial will be in the Cass Cemetery near Atlanta under the direction of Hanner Funeral Home.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Pat Solley; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Solley of Cass; one son, Bubba Solley of Bossier City; one daughter, Mary Ann Solley of Bossier City; five sisters, Mrs. Evelyan Parchman, Mrs. Neill Bishop, both of Gilmer, Tex., Mrs. Hazel Ballard of Conroe, Tex., and Mrs. Helen Wilbanks and Mrs. Laverne Endsley, both of Cass; and five brothers, Elton Solley, Benny Solley, Leonard Solley and Tommy Solley, all of Cass; and James Roy Solley of Garland, Tex.
