William Marion Simon

William Marion Simon, “Bill”, passed away Tuesday morning, October 13, 2015. He was a long-time resident of Shreveport and a retired printer at the Shreveport Times and Journal.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ivy Simon and Alma Dark Simon and son, William Michael Simon.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Sherry Simon) Reynolds and husband, Tim of Edmond, OK and their children, Brenton Reynolds, Brandon Reynolds and Brittney Reynolds; daughter-in-law, Kim Simon and her children, Victoria Simon and Amie Strong; nine great grandchildren and two sisters. He will dearly be missed by relatives and friends and his long-time companion, Claudine Bond and family.

A memorial service to honor his life will be 3 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City. Officiating will be Rev. Ken Norton of Haughton United Methodist Church. Visitation will be prior to the service on Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m.
