William M. Richey
JONESVILLE - William M. Richey, 83, of Manifest died at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Catahoula Parish Hospital.
A lifetime resident of Manifest, he was a retired state Department of Highways employee, a member of Pisgah Baptist Church and a World War I veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Richey of Manifest; four sons, Elbert Richey of Otis, Charlie Richey and William Richey, both of Hineston, and Kerry Richey of Manifest; six daughters, Neva Lanier and Unev Wright, both of Manifest, Romadiee Whitmire of Pineville, Laverne Cockerham of Otis, Lila Mae Shipley of Jena and Octavia Ainsworth of Enterprise; three brothers, Millard Richey of Pineville, Monroe Richey of Denver and H.S. Richey of Bossier City; four sisters, Alice Brown of Olla, Mary McCaskill of Denver, Eva Bradford of Jena and Beatrice Guize of Minden; 42 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.
Services were at 11 a.m. today in Pisgah Baptist Church in Manifest with the Rev. Barry Hamilton officiating.
Burial was in Heard Cemetery under direction of Young, Jonesville.
