William ``Bill'' Rolen
Mr. William ``Bill'' Rolen, 71, of the Dixie Community, died Friday, Sept. 25, 2009 at Wesley Medical Center.
Mr. Rolen was retired from the Broadwater Hotel as Night Auditor and a self-employed accountant. He was also a United States Air Force veteran. He was a member of Dixie Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mary Carter Rolen, 2 sisters: Barbara Spivey and Eleonor Brown; 1 brother Edward ``Sonny'' Rolen and 2 grandchildren, Christopher Rolen and Justin Ishee.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Rouse Rolen of the Dixie Community; three sons, Glenn Rolen of Gulfport, Tony Lee of Okmulgee, Okla. and Terry Lee of Galveston, Tex.; five daughters, Kathy Rolen of Gulfport, Vickie Price of Pass Christian, Debbie Franks of Gulfport, Brenda Mason of Cooksfield, Tenn. and Linda Ishee of Gulfport; one sister, Edna Roberts of Tallassee, Ala.; two brothers, James Rolen of Pensacola, Fla. and Herbert C. Rolen of San Antonio, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home, Hattiesburg, and also at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Dixie Baptist Church.
Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg is in charge of arrangements.
