William ``Bill'' Ross Womack

William ``Bill'' Ross Womack, 95, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 30, 2010.

Service: 3:30 p.m. Friday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Bill was born in Jonesboro, La., on Nov. 9, 1914. After graduation from high school, he joined the Navy for four years. After he was discharged, he came to Fort Worth and went to work at Convair (now Lockheed). There he met the love of his life, Hulene, they married Oct. 16, 1943, and raised three daughters.

They enjoyed 65 1/2 years of love, devotion and loyalty to each other.

Bill was a past master of Arlington Heights Masonic Lodge #1184, Deer Creek Lodge #510 and Arlington Heights Chapter #702 and Everman Chapter #6249 Order of the Eastern Star. He had been a member for over 50 years.

He loved to travel with Hulene and they belonged to the Camper Club. They traveled all across the U.S., enjoying the wonderful sites this country has to offer.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Hulene; daughter, Pat Dent; grandchild, Tina; and four brothers.

Survivors: Daughters, Robbie Adkinson and Linda Perez; grandsons, Eddie Dent and wife, Karen, Paul Granado and wife, Whitney, Cary Adkinson and wife, Katie, and Keith Adkinson and wife, Cassie; granddaughters, Theresa Elkins and husband, Billy, Vicki Willoughby and husband, Howard, and Lori White and husband, Carl; 13 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Louise Sanders, Sally Boykin and husband, Grady, and Willie Floy Pennington.
