William R. Gaar
WINNFIELD -- Services for William R. Gaar will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Southern with Bishop Loy Gaar officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Dodson.
Gaar, 98, of Winnfield died at 12:45 p.m. Monday, March 14, 1994, in Parkview Nursing Home.
He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and was a veteran of World War I. He was employed by the state highway department.
Survivors include two sons, Lee Gaar of Hodge and Bishop Loy Gaar of Dodson; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Thursday in the funeral home.
