Funeral services for W. T. Sant, 86, of Downsville, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Bethel Church of Downsville with Pastor Laymond Tucker officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mr. Sant passed away Monday, June 13, 2011, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. He was a U. S. Army veteran of WWII and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Mr. Sant was preceded in death by his son, George Ray Sant.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Guillotte; children, John Sant and wife Gloria of Sterlington, Margaret Tindell and husband Larry of Saraland, AL, and Debbie Davis and husband Johnny of Monroe; eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, two sisters, Bertha Robinson of Monroe, and Myrtle Mansfield [sic Manfull] of Eudora, AR; four step children, Melba Loosier of Alabama, Cliff Charrier, Jr. of Downsville, Patricia Taylor of West Monroe, and Debbie Hernandez of Swartz; ten step grandchildren, five step great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Terry Sant, Clint Sant, Bobby Sant, Jimmy Sant, Michael Sant, Bret Sant, Andy Sant, and Thomas Tindell. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Sant and Michael Coats.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
