William Verlin Vinzant
PELAHATCHIE -- William Verlin Vinzant, 74, a retired truck driver, died of heart failure Tuesday at Rankin Medical Center in Brandon.
Services are 2 p.m. today at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Forest with burial in Lorena Baptist Church Cemetery in Smith County.
Mr. Vinzant, a Pelahatchie native, served in the Navy. He was a member of Lorena Baptist Church. At the time of his death, he was working as a security guard.
Survivors include: wife, Jean; sons, Frank Vinzant of Pelahatchie and Jerry Vinzant of Morton; and 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
