William W. Strickland

STRICKLAND, WILLIAM W., 79 of Orlando, passed away Monday January 8, 2007. He was born November 19, 1927 in Rolling Fork, MS. William served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He poured himself into his work and was actively employed as an engineer until the day he became ill. Bill and his loving wife Gerry were very passionate and active members of St. John Vianney Parish. They served side by side in many ministries.

Bill is survived by his wife Gerry; daughters, Donna Smith, Denise Scammell, Bonnie Cocuzza of New York; and a son Billy Strickland of New Jersey, and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 12th from 6:30-9PM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. His Funeral Mass will be officiated by Fr. Paul Henry on Saturday, Jan. 13th at 12:30 PM at St. John Vianney Church. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Comforter, 480 West Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
