Willie Billings

WINNFIELD -- Services for Willie "Bill" Billings will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Logan officiating. Burial will be in Gorham Town Cemetery, Joyce.

Billings, 82, of Winnfield, died at 3 p.m. Sunday at Humana Hospital, Winnfield.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice Billings of Winnfield; three sons, Lesley Billings and William Billings, both of Waco, Texas, and George Bolton of Monroe; seven daughters, Texana Adley of Temple, Texas, Jane Gibble of Rogers, Texas, Betty Toten of Waco, Texas, Clarene Walker of Lorrain, Texas, Sarah Flint of Hiram, Ga., and Marylon Barton and Juanita Barton, both of Winnfield; one brother, J.W. Billings of San Marcas [sic San Marcos], Texas, and five sisters, Bessie Plumley and Elvie Cook, both of Austin, Texas, Kobbie Brown of Wimberly, Texas, and Ruby Cozey and Melissa Chandler, both of Seguin, Texas, 36 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
