Willie Belle McGuffie LeBlanc

Services for Willie Belle McGuffie LeBlanc, of McComb, are 10 a.m. Friday, July 20, at Jones Family Funeral Services Chapel in McComb with burial in the Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery in Summit. The Rev. Ed Sudduth will officiate.

Visitation is Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

Mrs. LeBlanc, 84, died July 17, 2007, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. She was born on April 29, 1923, to Crawford McGuffie and Florence Dickerson McGuffie.

She was a former school teacher and educator in Louisiana for over 37 years. Upon her retirement, she moved back to Southwest Mississippi where she became a faithful member of First Baptist Church of McComb.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Peter LeBlanc; her brothers, Jack, James and T.C. McGuffie; and her sister Helen McGuffie Tarver.

Survivors are her sister, Bessie McMillan, of Georgia; her brother, Robert McGuffie, of Texas; and two very devoted cousins, Earl Freeman and his wife Hilda, and Virginia Freeman, all of McComb.

Pallbearers are Jim Freeman, Jeffery Freeman, Don Nenno, Will Dart, Eddie Roberts and Ben Gray.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to either First Baptist Church in McComb or Montgomery Church in Summit.
