W. D. Rippy

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sikes Baptist Church in Sikes for Willie DeWitt Rippy, 73, of Rt. 5, West Monroe.

Mr. Rippy died unexpectedly Saturday night at his home.

The Rev. Willie James, pastor of the Sikes Baptist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Rice, Wesley Harold, Jim McGloflin, D. W. Harper, J. J. Harper and George Jones.

Willie DeWitt Rippy, 73, died suddenly Saturday night, March 25, 1967, at his residence, Rt. 5, West Monroe. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sikes Baptist Church in Sikes with interment in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his widow, one son, three daughters, one of whom is Mrs. Betty Hayes of Sikes and two sisters, including Mrs. Maude Higdon of Winnfield and nine grandchildren.
