Willie E. (Bill) Jackson

BOSSIER CITY - Services for Willie E. (Bill) Jackson, 63, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday March 14 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. David Griggs, Pastor of First Christian Church of Bossier where she was a member. Burial: Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mrs. Jackson, a native of Dodson, La. and a resident of Bossier City since 1942, was a registered nurse at Highland Hospital and a member of La. Nurses' Association. She died Tuesday March 12, 1985 after a lengthy illness. She was preceeded in death by her husband, H. R. Jackson, Sr.

Survivors: one son, Richie Jackson of Bossier City; one daughter, Rita Carol Huddleston of Benton; two sisters, Sue Johnson, Haughton, La., Nell Hodges, Trona, Calif.; one foster brother, Howard French, Jonesboro, La; 9 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Connie Mac Boykin, Bud McKenzie, Carl Richard, George Brice, Randy McKenzie.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and First Christian Church of Bossier City.
