Rites Held In Quitman For Willie Walker

Willie Lee Walker, 47, of Quitman died early Saturday following an illness of a few days.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Beech Springs Baptist Church with the Rev Loy Buird and Rev. Prince McCloud officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of oJnesboro [sic Jonesboro].

He is survived by his widow; three sons, Bobby, Martin and Willie Jean, all of Quitman; two daughters, Jantis and Nenia Walker both of Quitman; two brothers Kenney Walker and Harold Walker, both of Quitman; one sister, Mrs. Marjorie Peel, Quitman.
