BLYSTAD, WILLIE M. MAY

A resident of Denham Springs, she died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. She was 70 and a native of Livingston.

She had taught school at Springfield and Walker in Livingston Parish. She was a former secretary-treasurer for the Livingston Parish Police Jury and retired from the Livingston Parish Assessor's Office.

Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Whit Holmes. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Survived by her husband, Richard B. Blystad; two stepsons, Richard B. Blystad Jr. and Thomas J. Blystad; a sister, Helen May Waldrop; and numer ous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by father, Robert May; mother, Mary May; two brothers, O.P. May and Robert May; and a sister, Myrtle Roberts.
