Wilcox Services Are Held

Mrs. Willie C. Wilcox, 84, a resident of 1025 Small Street, passed away Sunday evening in a Grand Prairie hospital.

Mrs. Wilcox, a native of Meridian, Miss., had lived in Grand Prairie for the past 15 years. She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Opal Hosea of Grand Prairie; two sons, C. J. Emmons of Hurst and J. W. Emmons of Skidmore; two sisters, Mrs. Connie Rozell of Commerce, Mrs. Lucille Mertens of Three Rivers; four brothers, Joe McNiell of Beeville, Dick McNiell of Earth, Tommy McNiell and Dan McNiell of Three Rivers; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Chapel services were to be held 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. John Bourgeois officiating.

Interment will be in Scurry Cemetery, Kaufman County.

Moore-Brown Funeral Home was in charge.
