SMITH, WILLIE MALIN

Died at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 1983, at Seventh Ward General Hospital, Hammond. He was 68, a native of Jackson Parish and resident of Natalbany. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 8 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial in Park Lawn Memorial Gardens, Hammond.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Faye Wilson Smith, Natalbany; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Dianne) Edwards and Mrs. Ronald (Cathryn) Rossie, both of Hammond; a son, William “Bubby” Smith, Clinton; a sister, Mrs. Leona Britton, Natalbany; three brothers, Milam R. Smith, Clearwater, Fla., A. C. Smith, Lafayette, and John R. Smith Jr., New Orleans; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
