Willie Spradley Dies Tuesday; Burial in Reeves
Willie R. Spradley, farmer and stockman of Deadwood, died at [?:?0] Tuesday at Panola General Hospital. He had been ill for five months.
He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Miriam Jones, whom he married October 19, 1930.
Other survivors include 3 brothers, Johnnie Spradley of Carthage, Guy and Ray Spradley of Shreveport; a sister, Mrs. Jack Thomas of Deadwood.
Rev. [James Pease?] officiated at the funeral services which were held at Reeves Church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Burial was at Reeves Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jim Jones, Conway Jones, T. L. Jones, T. V. Jones, Conway Spradley, Carl Spradley, J. T. Woods.

The surrounding Communities were saddened Tuesday morning of last week by the death of our friend and kindsman [sic kinsman], Willie Spradley.
He is survived by his wife, the former Miriam Jones, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Spradley of Reeves, a sister, Mrs. Bonnie Thomas, also of Reeves, three brothers, Johnny of Carthage, Ellis Ray and Guy of Shreveport and a host of friends and relatives.
