Ray Rollins
Services for Ray Rollins of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 2, at New Prospect Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Rollins, 63, died Jan. 1, 2000, of heart failure at St. Dominic Hospital. He was born in Adams County on May 31, 1936 to the late Decatur and Rettie Freeman Rollins.
He was a heavy equipment operator for Dickerson & Bowen. He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Nelda Faye Rollins of Brookhaven; two daughters, Cynthia Rollins Smith of Brookhaven and Sherry Hatcher of Terry; four brothers, Dole [sic Doyle] Rollins and Wren Rollins, both of Bogue Chitto, Clinton Rollins of Columbia and Wayne Rollins of McComb; and four grandchildren.
