After a brave struggle for her life Mrs. Horace McIntosh died Friday morning about 10 o'clock from pneumonia following an attack of influenza.

Mrs. McIntosh was a young matron only 20 years of age, a member of the Baptist Church and an active worker. At the time of her death she was serving as secretary for the Blocton Baptist Ladies' Aid Society. Before her marriage to Mr. Horace McIntosh three years ago she was Miss Willie Wynn Womble.

The remains were interred at Mt. Carmel Cemetery Saturday afternoon, followed to their last resting place by a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends. Many beautiful floral designs were sent by sympathizing friends and relatives. Rev. J. C. White of Centreville and Rev. D. Z. Woolley of West Blocton conducted the funeral.

Mrs. McIntosh is survived by her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Womble, and several brothers and sisters, all of whom are bowed down with grief.
