Onus Head

SIKES -- Services for Onus Head will be at 10 a.m. today in Sikes Baptist Church with the Revs. Willie James and Ed Baldwin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Southern, Winnfield.

Head, 67, of Sikes died at 7:15 p.m. Monday in Humana Hospital Winnfield.

Survivors include his wife, Ida G. Head of Sikes; one son, Douglas Head of Sikes; one daughter, Nellie Simmons of Bastrop; two brothers, the Rev. Jack Head and Issac Head, both of Sikes; three sisters, Lillie Tucker of Sikes, Rosa Howell of West Monroe and Colleen Parker of Tioga; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
