WILLIS PARKER
BAY SPRINGS, Miss. -- Willis Parker, 51, Rt. 1, Bay Springs, died Saturday at Veterans Hospital in Jackson. He was a veteran of World War II, a carpenter, and member of Stringer Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 3 p.m. at Memory Chapel of Bay Springs with the Revs. Tommy Mize and Charles Brown officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Lou Alice Parker; two daughters: Mrs. Buckley Cannon, Monroe, La.; Miss Lisa Parker, Rt. 1, Bay Springs; two grandchildren; four sisters; Mrs. Elvin Stringer of Laurel; Mrs. Travis King, Mrs. Haskel Cockrell, both of Pascagoula; Mrs. Eunice Ford, Taylorsville; and seven brothers: Woodrow, Ollie, Forrest, Thomas, Ira, and Alvis Parker, all of Bay Springs; and Norris Parker of Jackson.
Pallbearers are Stoney Stringer, Michael Parker, Clifton Parker, James Robert King, Billy Stringer and Tommy Joe Jackson.
