Wilma Wallace

MORTON -- Wilma Faye Wallace, 69, died Friday, April 10, 1998, at the Mississippi Care Center of Morton after a sudden illness. She was a native of the Polkville community in Smith County and a longtime resident of Morton. She was employed by the Morton Attendance Center cafeteria for 22 years before retiring. She also worked at the Scott County Nursing Home cafeteria for the past several years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Wallace.

Services were Sunday, April 12, 1998, at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Morton with the Rev. Alvin Doyle officiating. Burial was in the Morton Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Jimmy Puckett of Amory, and Sylvia and Keith Roberts of Brandon; one sister, Hattie Mae Miles of Morton; five grandchildren, Amanda Puckett, Aaron Minor and Tyler Minor, all of Amory, and Addie Roberts and Cody Roberts, both of Brandon; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Jack Miles, Jerry Miles, Billy Paul Earls, Gene Arender, Glen Harmon and Robert Finch.
