Wilma P. ``Polly'' Ortigo

BOSSIER CITY, LA -- Services for Wilma P. ``Polly'' Ortigo, 89, Will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel with Rev. Bobby Dye, pastor of Central Baptist church officiating. Interment will follow at Haughton Cemetery, Haughton, LA. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 noon until service time.

Mrs. Ortigo was born July 9, 1921 in Sikes, LA to Joseph and Nancy McCarty Smith and died June 2, 2011 in Bossier City, LA. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and retired form the Bossier Parish School board as a cafeteria worker.

Her husband Vernice Ortigo and son, Joseph William Ortigo preceded her in death.

She is survived by son, Dr. Richard Ortigo of Glendale, CA; daughters, Patricia Ortigo of Black Mountain, NC, Wilma Reich and husband Lewis of Haughton, LA; sister, Oline Underwood; grandchildren, Joseph Ortigo, Jr., Jenny Bannister, Christopher Reich and great grandchildren, Kodi and Kamryn.
