DAWSON, WILMER KENNETH

Died Wednesday, May 9, 1990, at Hinds General Hospital, Jackson, Miss. He was 64, a native of Amite County and resident of Gloster, Miss. He was a self-employed logger.

Visiting at Brown Funeral Home, Gloster, Miss., 6 p.m. Thursday to religious services at 4 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Gaylon Dawson and the Rev. Carl Rigby. Burial in New Hope Cemetery, near Gloster, Miss.

Survived by nine children; two brothers, Roger Dawson, Gloster, Miss., and Billy Dawson, Jackson, Miss.; five sisters, Kathryn Thornton, Gloster, Miss., Evelyn Havard, Baton Rouge, Lexie Whittington, Baton Rouge, Vasser Boykin, Zachary, and Lazella Boykin, Ferriday.

Preceded in death by parents, Harper and Ruby Whittington Dawson; two brothers, Mann Dawson and Eugene Dawson; and a child.
