WILSON R. LOFTIN

Wilson R. Loftin, 86, of Collins, died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at Covington County Hospital in Collins. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, at Station Creek Baptist Church in Collins, with burial in the church cemetery. A retired farmer, he was a member of Station Creek Baptist Church and the Collins Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by one son, Randal Loftin, and first wife, Glates Loftin.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta Loftin of Collins; five sons, Rex Loftin of Conway, Ark., Danny Loftin of Collins, Warren Tynes Jr. of Fairhope, Ala., James R. Tynes of Austin, Texas, and John D. Tynes of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Jo Doris Moss of Pearl and Yvonne Tynes of Mobile, Ala.; two sisters, Delores McDaniel and Alice Morris, both of Hattiesburg; 14 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins is in charge of arrangements.
