Winfield Spradley
Winfield W. Spradley, 59, a resident of 3304 West Railroad St., Gulfport, died Monday at 10:20 a.m. at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport where he had been a patient for four days.
He was a self-employed carpenter. He was born June 10, 1910, in Harrison County and was a life-long resident of the Coast. He was a Baptist.
Mr. Spradley is survived by one son, William A. Spradley, Mississippi City; his mother, Mrs. Martha Woodcock Spradley, Handsboro; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Carl Clinton Spradley, Baton Rouge; Harold J. Spradley, Sarasota, Fla.; and Curtis A. Spradley, Gulfport; and three sister[s], Mrs. Lenora Prather, Gulfport; Mrs. Etta Page, Pascagoula; and Mrs. Lena Dickerson, Louisiana.
Friends may call at Riemann Funeral Home in Gulfport after 6 o'clock this evening. The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. John Wade, pastor of Pass Road Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Allen Cemetery, Long Beach.
