Winnie Carlisle Walters, 83, West Point, formerly of Laurel, died Wednesday, March 28, 1990, at West Point Nursing Home.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Memory Chapel, with burial in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Dr. Larry Kennedy will officiate.
She was retired from the food service departments of the Laurel school district and First Baptist Church. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Laurel and the 20th Century Literary Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Earl Walters.
She is survived by a daughter, Wilma Brooks of Columbus; a brother, Dewey Carlisle of Alexandria, La.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at Memory Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
