Winnie L. Raywinkle
(Oct. 17, 1917 - Dec. 11, 2003)

Funeral services for Winnie L. Raywinkle, 86, of Longview will be held at Twelve O'clock Noon Monday December 15, 2003 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel 1617 Judson Road with Reverend Mike Lindstrom officiating. Private burial will follow at the Rosewood Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Raywinkle passed away Thursday December 11, 2003 in Longview.

She was born October 17, 1917 in Benton, Arkansas. She moved to Longview in 1936, residing here until 1950. She returned to Longview in 1972 from Pasadena, California, where she was very active in the Full Gospel Assembly of God ministries. Mrs. Raywinkle was a dedicated private duty nurse who spent many years caring for newborns and the elderly. She was loved by many for her dedication to helping others.

She is survived by her loving daughter and son, Billie Ann Huffman and husband Charles, and H. E. (Bud) Raywinkle and wife Louise. She adored her four grandchildren, Julia Wilkinson and husband Wallace of Big Sandy, Texas; Cindy Raywinkle of Flint, Texas; Kelly Huffman and wife Pam of Atlanta, Texas; Mark Huffman of Longview; Great-grandchildren in which she took special pride are Kimberly Wilkinson and Maggie, Sarah and Kellianne Huffman. She is also survived by her special caregiver Josie Douglas, and her beloved canine companion, Misty.

Mrs. Raywinkle was preceded in death by a grandson, Kimball Raywinkle, three brothers and one sister.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday December 14, 2003 from 2pm until 4 pm.
