Mrs. Nettles Dies Sunday
Mrs. J. E. Nettles, of 1026 Meadow Heights Drive, died unexpectedly early Sunday morning at her home after an apparent heart attack.
Mrs. Nettles, the former Sarah Wenonah Hargrove, was a native of Shubuta, Miss., and had been a resident of Jackson since 1932.
She was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Maynard Craft, Mrs. Henry Allen, and Mrs. Curtis Russ, all of Jackson, and Mrs. Harold Jordan, of Vicksburg; four sisters, Mrs. E. L. Boggan, of Birmingham, Mrs. H. P. Mosley, of New Orleans, and Mrs. H. Thurman Lewis and Miss Glinda Hargove, both of Jackson; three brothers, A. S. Hargrove, of Hattiesburg, Dr. H. H. Hargrove, of Brownwood, Texas, and J. E. Hargrove, of Jackson; and four grandchildren, Connie Craft, Glinda Ruth Allen, Scott Allen, all of Jackson, and Jan Jordan of Vicksburg.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Wright and Ferguson Chapel with Dr. David Grant, pastor of Broadmoore Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be: Leon Fuller, Paul Moak, Charles Arrington, Allen Hargrove, Pople Fagan, and Charles Sudduth.
